JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Planning Specialist will identify, communicate, report and respond to potential disruptions, production delays, out of scale inventory or other concerns which impacts efficient and timely inventory replenishment. They will work on scheduling of production both domestic and international. They will plan according to sales forecast, monitor trends and analyze statistical data based on our industry and product sold.


Key KPIs are:
1. Excess Inventory/Over Production
2. Not Enough Inventory
3. Backorders
4. Production Schedule release requirements
Reports directly to the Planning Manager. Position located in Next Level Apparel corporate office:
Gardena, CA.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (including but not limited to):
● Monitor inventory on a daily basis and replenish inventory following purchasing
● Issue and track Purchase Orders for CMT (Cut, Make and Trim)
● Maintain accurate reports; WIP, schedules, etc.
● Maintain and monitor production schedule, produce exception report and conduct daily meetings with production team
● Prioritize workflow and complete all urgent work
● Know and adhere to planning/purchasing protocol at all times
● Maintain all logs and reporting documentation/scorecards as required
● Meet inventory replenishment requirements
● Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must have minimum 3 years pre-production/production planning experience; goods industry, textile and apparel industries preferred. Must have end to end supply expertise and maintaining measurable metrics. Candidate will have demonstrable accomplishments of lean inventory, high service levels, and low excess inventory. The ideal candidate will have the additional qualifications:
● Ability to participate as a team member in a team oriented environment and experience working with cross-functional teams in the US and oversees
● Heavy computer work within urgent and demanding deadlines experience
● Proficient in Microsoft Office application
● Excel spreadsheet development advance skills required
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause/counter measure analysis
● Full Circle experience or other ERP experience a plus
● Excellent written and verbal communications
● Bilingual (Spanish) required

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Customer Account Specialist responsibilities include building strategic relationships with key accounts along with transactional tasks such as resolving complex customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding customers through product features and functionalities. To be successful in this role, you should be analytical and an excellent communicator both verbally and via PowerPoint presentations to earn our clients’ trust. You should also be able to enhance account relationships thru effective collaboration utilizing various analytics and communication tools. As well as be able to support preparation and some leading of business reviews with executive leadership both internally and with our highest volume accounts. Ultimately, you will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support for all after-sales processes and procedures.

Essential Duties:
● Build strategic relationships with Next Level’s key accounts which requires consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgement such as analyzing data in Excel and creating presentations that lead to actions which results in low out of stock % at the end market, along with margin expansion through both minimizing freight cost and inventory obsolesce for both customer and Next Level Apparel.
● Execute end to end order management from order intake to order allocation and logistic scheduling for key accounts.
● Onboard account thru set up and launch process.
● Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
● Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
● Analyze in Excel and report service level needs and gaps (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
● Work with cross functional teams to review, implement and build customer service level requirements to meet customer account guidelines.
● Develop individualized reporting and processes for major accounts
● Share feature requests and effective workarounds with team members

● Follow up with customers to ensure their technical, product, service level issues are resolved
● Gather data, interpret it and be able to present findings to internal teams and Customer at all levels.

Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree in business, sales, or related field of study preferred.
● 5+ years prior experience working in Strategic account support or Customer Service account management.
● Experience with EDI processing and file types, including set up, and troubleshooting preferred.
● Familiarity with our industry is a plus
● Understanding of how CRM systems work
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

● Patience when handling tough cases

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, we seek a sharp Senior Financial Analyst. The perfect candidate will have a “big picture” view of the business as a whole, and be able to communicate effectively between all levels of the company. A strong sense of urgency to accomplish tasks, and be able to successfully enable management to determine progress against strategic/ business plans. All candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Gardena, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Provide financial and business analysis support to Management, Sales, and Operations within the organization who rely on the information to make informed business decisions.  Primary responsibilities include analysis of customer and departmental performance, developing business partnerships with internal customers to drive achievement of financial goals, assisting in the annual planning/budgeting process, monthly and quarterly forecasting and month-end close activities.   

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly analysis of financial results and provide explanations and recommendations for gap closure or corrective action.
  • Assist in analyzing the financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans and budgets. Prepare analysis of product and customer profitability and any other sales analysis.
  • Partner with internal customers including Sales and Operations to perform analyses of product and operations costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings, profit improvement and tracking performance against targets
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget; including preparation of supporting schedules, assisting in preparing the financial budgeting model, creating reports and analysis and coordinating with key personnel from various departments.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of accounting and business process and analysis for such things as headcount reporting, product analysis, customer analysis, capital expenditures.
  • Assist in various P&L modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and create financial and operational dashboards
  • Manage assigned tasks as well as proactively take on ad hoc projects as required in support of business and strategic initiatives
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Four-year college or university degree from an accredited institution.  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
  • Three to four years of experience in a similar position; experience with income statement analysis, global budgeting, and reporting operations.
  • Apparel industry background a plus but not required.
  • Advanced Excel skills.  Strong MS software skills including PowerPoint for presentation preparation and Word.
  • Experience with ERP systems such SAP, MS Dynamics, or Oracle a plus, but a natural strength and flare with analytical tools, a must.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
  • Must work well independently and in a team environment.
